MENACE OF FIFTH COLUMN
Received Monday, 10.30 a.m. MADRID, Dec. 15. In a future war the greatest menace would be a fifth colu'mn boring from within, said General Franco, addressing graduates of Saragossa Military Academy. Franco, condemning internal conflicts of nations as one of the biggest evils of modern time, declared that those nations seeking a solution of their problems were only now beginning to follow the course Spain adopted ten years ago He added that Spain had to remain constantly on guard against attacks from abroad. Spain hod been continuously attacked, firstly by gperrillas and the Maquis and now by United Nations.
