LEVIN WEDDING
MORTON — P ARRIN GTON A pretty wedding was ^so'lemnised on November 30 at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Levin, when Madelinej Fay, eldest daughter of Mr. apdj Mrs. E. I. Parringtoh, of Devon j Street, Levin, was married to George James, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Mqrton, of Princes Street, Levin. The Rev. G. B. Stote-Blandy ofiiciated. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of white satin, with low-fitting waist, sealloped neckline and long, full skirt. Her veil was lqng, with a coronet qf orange blossom, and she carried a lovely bouquet of white roses and other flowers. The two bridesmaids, Misses Elaine Parrington (sister of the bride) and Audrey Cleaver (cousin) were frocked in pale pink and pale blue respectively. They carried pink .and blue bouquets and wore head sprays to tone. Mr. E. Norton, of Levin, carried out the duties of best man, and Mr. Roiand Parrington those of groomsman. The reception was held at the home of the bride, where. the bride's mother, assisted by the bridegroom's mother, received the guests. The happy couple left later by train for their honeymoon in the north, and on their return will settle near Cambridge.
