TRAMWAYMEN TO REFUSE OVERTIME

WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. Wellington tramwaymen will restriet their. hours to eight a day and refuse all overtime from Monday next. This deeision fOllows upbn the failure of negotiations with the Oity Cotmcil, concerned principally with extra shift work payments. The tramwaymen, in a .union statement issued today, deelared they will make every attempt to carry all passengerS but cannot accept responsibility for ritnning the trains to timetable.
