AUCKLAND, Dec. 13. Property and money vaiued at £150 were stolen by burglars who ransacked Plioenix Chambers, Queon Street, on Thursday night. The intruders climbed a fire escape at the back of the building and gained cntry by breaking a window on the top floor and working their way down from floor to floor They foreed open Ihe doors of many offices with jennuies and littertfd rooms with the contents of drawers ancl cupboards in search for valualiles. The heaviest losses occurred on the seeond floor where G.M. Distributors were robbed of English eigarette lighters, jewellery, handbags, clothing and other stock worth £100.
