E. T. Wilson, A. R. Mills, S. Morrison and L. Hook (s). The last occasion that Shannon challenged for the Dixon Cup was against Eketahuna late last season, when the match was played in heavy rain. The local rink was defeated on the last head. On Saturday the local club will hold a progressive pairs tournament, and players are requested to report at the green early . so that the selection committee can arrange the g'ames.

Downes) made reference to the excellent work being done for the distnct by the district nurse.
