The Otaki Brass Band, under Bandmaster Dinnison, accompanied them.v : Mr. A. L. Dobson, secretary of -the Horowhenua Marching Association, ' tated that it was hoped to forni Peams in Otaki and that a meeting would shortly be held for that purjose. Teams had been formed in eoth Shannon and Levin, and good orogress had been made. He'saw

The cost o'i uniforms would be material ano making, only 30s, and there would be no other expense as these woulo be borrie' by the association. It was stated that many of the yirls had only had 184 hours train ing, and others 164 hours. ' It was ooinled out that the Otaki A.A. and C. Ciub was bearing the cxpenses of the vrit. As the result of an appeal for members, eighteen volunteered jmmediately to jcin, while today nore have signified their intention if doing so. It is fully expected that least two teams will be formed locally and probably thr.ee. Girls ideciring to join should hand in ■ UTeir nemes as early as possible.
