Major Cousens was eommitted for trial 011 October 4 by a magistrate 011 a charge of high treason arising from broadeast s He was allegeil to have made from Radio Tokio wliile a prisoner of war. After consideratiou of reeoniniendations of the SolicitorGoneral and senior Crown Prosecutor, tlie State Attorney-General decided not 4o file a Bill against Cousens.
