MOTHERS' CLUB MEETS

The Plunket Mothers' Club held its final meeting of the year this week, and it now goes into recess for the duration of the school holidays. A very interesting article by Mr. James Bertram was read on the work and needs of CORSO, and members agreed to help ih donating clothes. Final plans were made for the holding of a children's Christmas phrty at the home of Mr. and Mfs. J. "P. Bertram on December 14. Members will provide a plate of food and cups for their children, while toys, named and wrapped, should be left at the Plunket Rooms before noon on Friday next. Any person desiring transport should leave their name and address at Mr. John Corry's shop. In the eyent of unsuifgble weather the party will be held on the following Saturday.
