LEVIN BRANCH'S MEETING The final 1946 meeting of the Levin Branch of the Women's Division of Federated -Farmers was held in the Oddfellows' Hall on Tuesday. - Apologies for absence were . receiveicr from Mesdames Adkin, Colquhoun, W. Ryder and H. Easton. The meeting opened with the singing of the National Anthem. Thb committee will meet on January 28 to make final arrange'ments for the garden party lo be held at Mrs. Bodell's residen .e in Bartholomew Road. After the business of the meeting wis disposed of, Mrs. Scott gave an interesting t'alk on her visit to Melrose. Mrs. Taylor contributed vocai items. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Bodell, Scott, Geange and Allen. At the concluffon the president, Mrs. Lancaster, extended the season's greetings i.o . all members.
