CARD EVENING
Another most successful .bridge and 5.00 evening was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Synnott, when the scouts' funds were augmented considerabiy thereby. Beautiful teloom&» deooratedi..;the card rooms and a delicious supper was provided bv the ladies of the -couts' committee. After great vieissitudes in bidding, the prizes fell to Mrs. Wright (bridge) and Mrs. Housiaux. and Mr. Evans (500) . • The consola-tion bouquets were awarded to Mrs. Mould and Mr. Synno'tt. The popularity of the evenings i was seen on the voting for a finali tm-'-.y for the year on December 17 at Mrs. Synnott's residence. Play-' *rs and friends are asked to keep that date free and attend what is to be a Christmas party.
