RESTORING UNITY IN GERMANY

Received Friday, 11.30 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 5. Walter Ulbriclit, execuoive member for the Soviet-inspired Socialist Unity Party, has called for a nation-wide referendum "for the restoration of unity in Germany and agaist federalism," says Reuter's Hamburg correspondent. Ulbricht, in a speech in the Saxony Parliament, called the AngloAmerican merger agreement an attempt to tear Germany asunder. He added that Germany should be a single unit as promised by the Allies at Potsdam.
