MR. L. A. WILDBORE, IHAKARA Over 200- friends and relatives gathered in, tne Druids' Haii, Levin, ieceiitly to celebrate the coming-oi-age of Lance Aiwhur Wuuuoie, oniy son of Mr. and-Mrs. A. J. Wildoore, of Ihakara. The hail was, tastefully decorated with tiowers aua greenery, and there was a liberai supply of streamers, coiiieui oombs aua paper haos. Guescs were present from Marton, Palmerston NorUi and Kopuaranga. Unaer the aoie supervision of uvir. Tne candies were iit by tne three sisters ' of the guest oi nonour, and the traditional songs "Happy Birthday" and "l'm 21 Today" were sung during the cutting oi the cake and the presentation
ji a iarge golden key. The toast of "The King" was proposed by Mr. B. Body, "The Uuest of Honour," by Mr. A. Cottle and "Mr. and Mrs. Wildbore" by Mr. A. Mitcheli. During the evening Roy Anderson oi Shannon entertained with a .jracket of Western songs. An attractive supper was served ana soft drinks, ice cream and sweets distriouted to the children present.
