OUTSTANDING HACK
Iwo Jiiua made his rccord four wins in as many starts wlien he dowued au exceptionally stroug field of hacks in tlie Electric llandicap at Avondale last week, and lie is obviously well above the average. A four-year-old gekling by Chatsworth out of Basra, Iwo Jima is not what would be considered classically bred, but he inlierits some stroug strains of both staying and sprinting blood. His dam is a Bronze Eagle mare out of Unitoa, by Potoa out of Unity, by Lupin — Modesty, by Tasman.
