Personal Mrs. Bell, who is still seriously ill in the Palmerston North Hospital, shows signs of slight improvement. Mr. J. F. Wilcox, who has been on a visit to Otaki, left for his home at Kaitaia yesierday to resume his uufles as postmaster. Mr. W. W. -Mulholland, Dominion president of the Federated Farmers, is to visit thjs district shorcly to address members. The meeting will probably be held at Te Horo. Mr. Dave Blake, who has been on a visit to Christchurch, returned home on Tuesday, accompanied by his mother, travelling by plane. Mr. Blake went south on account of the death of his brother-in-law, Mr. Kenneth Bruce MacRae, a wellknown and highly respected resident who had been suffering the results of war injuries for some time. A widow and a son and daughter are left to mourn their loss. Court Sitting Adjourned The montniy sicring of the Otaki Magistrate's Court to have been held today has been adjourned till 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, on account of Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., being unable to attend. Bowling Tournament jA uournamenc will be held on the Otaki Raiiway Ciub's green on Sunday, when a full muster is expected. Representatlves from various Wellington and Manawatu Clubs have oigmfled their intention of being present, while local and district piayers have also promised support. Games will start at 10.30 a.m.
