Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 3. Two Istanbul newspapers today carried statements asserting that Stalin is seriously ill, reports the Associated Press Istanbul correspondent. Thc newspaper Tanin said Stalin is so ill that all high Soviet ofiicials and his closest friends are no .v near him. The newspaper Tasvir said Stalin's illness has taken a dangerous course. Neither newspaper indicated the nature of the illness.
