MAORI DIES SUDDENLY

Pita Whareangi, aged 42 years, a Maorl who resides at Poutu Pah, Moutoa, died suddenly on Saturday afternoon. Wharengi and two companions left Shannon at about 5.30 p.m. by taxi for Poutu Pah, and upon their arrival Whareangi collapsed alongside the car. The district nurse was summoned, but upon her arrival it was found that Whareangi was dead. An inquest will be held.
