Tlie Thames overflowod its valley, Oxfordshire and Iterksliire being niost affected. Tlie river Avon rose three feet in 12 liours causing the water to spread to Evesham and Rath. The river Medway, in Kent, Ihreaten.s to overflow. Tlie earl'ier lloods in Ihe Rother Valley between Hastings and Rye liave been exfended.
