(From "Chronicle" Correspondent) A pleasant evening was spent by all when Miss Kora Lang's dancing class held its "break-up" party in the Anglican Hall. She was presented with a spray of flowers in appreciation of her work. Mrs. Hay entertained a party of ladies to afternoon tea at her residence, Raumati Road, when Mrs. Thorn was the speaker. Mr. Mervyn Donovan, who had the misfortune to break his leg some time ago, has returned to his home, though he is still in plaster and confined to his bed. Colonel and Mrs. Rose, of Seaview Road, Paraparaumu, were the lecipients of numerous cables and telegrams on the occasion of their golden wedding. Mrs. Mclsaac and her daughter havc returned from a holiday spent in the South Island. y
