The returning oificer, Mr. H. J. Henderson, said this morning thdt there Were 822 absentee, 300 postal votes and also some declaration votes still tb come tb harid. He added that it would be at least a week a,nd probably ten days before the recount was completed and the final result known. As was the case iri the i943 eiection, the result is expected to be a very close one.
