WELLINGTON, Nov. 27 Ilaving visited Wanganui, Hamilton, Auckland and Napier iu two days for the purpose of iiiterviewing applicants for entrance to the llegular Force, the Adjutaut General, Brigadier Iv. L. Steivart, will leave for tlie South island tomorrow when ho will interview applicants at Nelson and Christchurch. Ho will visit Dunedin and Invercargill on Friday and possibly Timaru and Blenheim on Saturdav. The Adjutaut General said he interviewed about 100 men on his North Islaud tour. They were of good type and included some who were in good positions but preferred Arniy life even if it meant a saerilice in pay. Those interviewed included men vvlio desired further information as to conditions of serviee.™ In additiou a number had forwarded their application3 for enrolment witliout inquiries. Brigadier Stewart expressed himself confldent that the requisite number of suitable men would be found and that with the election over and foilowing the publication of the eomplete niilitary ' plan and wages, personnel for the Regular Force would soon be recruited.
