OTTAWA. A series of scliolarships, enabling ten Canadian students to study in the United Kingdom, was recentlv estab lislied* bv Lord Beaverbrook. They were bestowed upon the University of New Brunswick, • wliich is located at Fredericton, in the British publisher's home province, and of wliich he is chancellor. ITuler tlie ternis of Lord Beaverbrook 's gift, the scliolarships are to be tenable at the Pniversity of T.ondon for post-graduate work in various fields. Opou to students of botli sexes, they will provide for a year's stay in Brittii'n, but students receiving a certifieute of proliciency while attending London ITiversity will be permitted i'n reniaiu two years to cpialify for a degree. Under-graduate students at the University of Xew Brunswick who are nominated for study at other universities will also be eligible for the awards.
