MAORI ELECTION TODAY
Voting in the Maori elections commenced at 9 a.m. today in Levin at the bandroom, and by 1 p.m. 70 electors had exercised their right. Electors arrived in a continuous stream, and the results from the Levin, polling booth will njot be known until 5 p.m. tonight. It is estimated that approximately 100 voters will be eligible in the Levin area to vote for the representative for the Western Maori seat.
