The Txion Motor Cycle Club's first. meeting of the season was held at Waikanae Beach on Saturday last before a large crowd of spectators. Results: — One mile -scratch, 350 c.c. machines: M. Ruddlesden 1, T. Partridge, 2. Time, 1.6. One mile scratch, 500 c.c. : B. Abernethy 1, K. Beck 2. Time 1.3.35. Three mile scratch, 350 c.c. : A. Bailey 1, G. Harris 2. Time 3.7. Three mile scratch, 500 c.c. : R. Lawton 1, A. Wilson 2. Time 3.6. 350 c.c. half-mile flying: R. Robson 1, G. Harris 2. Time 29. 500 c.c. half-mile flying: B. Abernethy 1, R. Lawton 2. Time 25. Five mile handicap: R. Lawton 1, R. Robson 2, B. Abernethy 3. Three mile touring machines: R. Wemyss 1, D. Boyle 2, F. Boyle 3. 14 mile handicap: W. Bowe 1, R. Wemyss 2, R. Tomlin 3.
