BIG RAID ON BLACK--MARKETEERS
Received Monday, 10.10 a.m. STUTTGART, Nov. 24. The French and American police, using tanks and jeeps in one of the biggest police operati'ons since the war closed in a 100-square mile frontier area, south of Stuttgart. searched houses and country roads for blackmarketeers. They arrested 28 Germans suspected of illegal inter-zonal activity, and seized 0 quantity of illegal liquor and merchandise.
