Two "inquests" vtziil be hdld this week into the rebellion bf the Labour back-benchers agahiSt the GOvernment'S foi'eign pdlicy, say?. ihe Press Association. The national executive of the Labottr Party is cohsidering ttie matter 011 November 27, and therc will be a full meetifig of the Parliamentary Labour Party 011 Nbvember 28. Angry clasheS are ekpecte'd at the latter meeting, for a gfoup of back-benchers want the standing orders reimposed so that ahy future conduct of this kind can be met with expulsion. Mr. .Attlee and Mr. Morrison are expected to emphasise the perhaps unappreciated gravity of the rebellion, which is a threat to prestige abroad and the stability of thr Government at home. They will do their utmost to prevent a recurrence of it.
