COLLISION WITH TRUCK
YOUNG GIRL CYCLIST INJURED Concussion and sreneral bruises were sustained by a young girl last night, when the bicycle she was riding collided with a light truck in Queen Styeet East, Levin. She was: Teresa Quinn, aged about 11 or 12, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Quinn, Queen Street East, Levin. The aecident occurred about 6.30 p.m. when, accompanied by two other girl cyclists, she was riding out from the curb immediately in front of her parents' residence. The truck, which was approaching from behind and travelling in an easterly direction was driven by Mr. T. Sue, a market gardener, resident in Bartholomew Road. The injured girl was taken to her home where she received medical attention. Her condition was reported today to be satisfactory.
