The Russians, under an agreenient whieh is now being implemented, agreed to supply 1.00,00.) tons of food for the British zone. The Mayor of Berlin, Herr Josef Orlopp, declared tliat the city's bread supply was secure until the beginiiing of Eebruarv. He added tl\at 230,000 tons of potatoes for tlie winter lutd arrived from the Russian zone and Gzechoslovakia.
