JAP WAR CRIMES TRIALS
Received Tuesday, 11.45 a.m. TOKIO, Nov. 18. The Australian division of Alliec Headquarters legal section announced that 696 alleged war cri-m-inals had been tried under it jurisdiction, of whom 463 had beer. sentenced, including 123 to thc death penalty, while 211 had beei acquitted.
