AUCKLAND, Now 17. Wlien she was struck by a n.otor car 011 the Great North Road on SaturdHv night, a woinan received severe lieu-i injuries from which she died shortly afterwards. She was: Miss Esther Jane Miller, aged (5!) of Surrey Crescent. Miss Miller was erossing the road, wheu Ihe aecident oceurred. The'cai was driven by Mr. A. E. McAlpine. Miss Miller died before she was ad mitted to hospital.
