Received Sunday, 7 p.m. MELBOURNE, Nov.: 17. A leading Sydney veterinary surgeon, Mr. R. Stewart, who came to Melbourne to attend Bernborough, beiieves the horse is out of dauger and there is no fepr now tliat the former champiou might not be saved for the stud. The Melbourne veterinary surgeon, Dr. G. G. Heslop, is more conservative, He says: "Bernborough is uiakiug siow but steady progress and provided he maintains his present improvemcnt, he can be saved for the stud." Bernborough is helping his own recovery by being a peri'ect patient. Bought in New Zealand last January, Fellowship won the Juuior Stakes at Uaudwick yesterday. He is the lirst horse by the English sirc Robin Good fellow to win a race in Australia. Followship's trainer, C. McLoughlin, will make a special trip to the yearling saies in New Zealand ncxt January in the hope of buying another colt as good ad Fellowship.
