Received Sunday, 7 p.ni. SYDNEY, Nov. 17. Because of an injured tliunib, the Australiau opening batsman Bill Brown will not be available for the lirst Test against Eugland at Brisbane. lv. Aleuleman or AL Harvey (Victoria) will probably opeu with A. Alorris (New South Wales). Don Bradman, who pulled a niustdr in the niatcli between the Australiau eleven and AI.C.C. at Alelbourhe, did uot take the field yesterday in tlie Sheffield Shield game between South Aunstralia and Victoria. Bradman is expected to be lit to lead Australia in tlie lirst Test.
