Prompt action is being takou by the Australian Vftieat Board to ovorcome tlie big wheat shortage which is inevit able in New fSouth Wales next year be cause of crop failures. About 14, ()()(), UOO bushels will be imported from otlier states and this, added to the carry over of 7,000, 000 bushels from last year's harvest, will permit two shift milling .vithout which tlie dairy] ng and poultrv industries will suffer severely. Early next year wheat will be brought from Vietoria and South Aiistralia at the maxiinum capacity of the three rail routes, and latcr ships will maintain a continuous supply from the coastal areas, '
