Church Bazaar A hara working committee has been very busy over the past few days making final arrangements for the annual sale of work of the Church of England, which is being held in the Parish Hali today. When the hali was visited last evening much of the sewing and produce was coming in and being arranged on the various stalls, and everything was in readiness for a big day. Arrangements ■ are also well in hand for ' the social and dance to be held this evening. To Foster Athletics A number 'of local residents are anxious to revive the sport of amateur athletics and cycling in Shannon, and a meeting is being held in Laurvig's. Hali this evening to try and make some arrangements. Shannon is fortunate in having the support of the Levin Ciub and a number of its members are expected to attend the meeting to offer helpful advice. As there are a number of keen athletes in Shannon, the reforming of the ciub would be a great -asset to the town.
