Shorn 2th wetliers sold from 22s 9d to 25s ld with smaller grown sorts at 20s Od while 4ths sold at 26s lOd. Two tooth ewes oif shears realised to 27s 3d. Qualitv liues of ewes and" lambs made 26s 2d to 20s all counted and otliers 20s Od. Shorn wetliers nf forward order sold from 29s H)s to 3.1s" 3d. Fat ewes sold on a firm market. Wetliers laeked the qualitv ot recent offerings. Woolly ewes sold from 28s 4d to 29s 7d, prime shorn ewes from 23s 7d to 25s lOd, unhnished 18s lOd to 19s lOd. Shorn maiden 4th ewes brougln 28s ld and JDown 2ths 24s 7d to 25s ld. Prime shorn wethers made 33s lOd to 34s lOd, lighter Down to 23s lOd and woolly hoggets 25s lOd to 29s 7d. Competition was keener for older cattle when a store yarding of 450 head \vas ofl'ered. Values for this class of stock Avere fully firm on recent saies. There wfcre few quality linfes on oft'er but the bulk of the yarding was not a class to excite interest. Four-year bullocks sold at £12 14s lo £14 11s, 3-year steers at £11 16s, 2-year at £9 9s to £10 6s, and yearlings at £6 5s. Few female cattle came forward, a pen of cows and culves selling at £8 2s 6d. Becf again sold on a slrong market when there was a' yarding of .125 head consisting niainly of femaies. A draft of .10 heavy A.A. bullocks sold at from £22 Ss 6d to £23 11s to better last week's average by £1 17s. Some good qualitv cows were oll'ered, top price being £13 18s 6d obtained for a Hcreford. Other heavy cows sold from £12 16s to £13 ls, prime £10. 16s to £11 18s Od, lighter down to £9 6s. Prime heifers brought £12 3s 6d to £13 ls, medium £11 8s 6d to £11 11s. Runners were not in demand selling at from £3 5s to £4 J2s 6d.
