Heavy Frost
.A frost of 10.2 degrees played havoc with vegetable gardens in Christchurch yesterday morning. It was the hardest November frost since 1929 and only two degrees less severe than rcadings in August and September. After a frost of eight drgr'ees last Friday eommercial growers were on the alert and by the use of oil pots minimised the damage.
