ITALIAN REPLY TO TITO Received Thursdav. 11.15 a.m. JROME, Nov. 13. Referring to Marshal Tito's proposed direct negotiations with Italy regarding Trieste, the Italian Prime Minister, Signor de Gasperi, declured that any such negotiations shouid embraee the entire question oi the eastern frontier,- but must not affect what Italy had already acquired in her favour at the Paris coiiierence. Tney must be considerect as complimentary to the Peace Treaty, and hence be subordinated to rne Big Four's guarancee.
