MASTERTON, Nov. 9. Despite bad weather, the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, addressed a packed house at the State Theatre last night on the lines of his former speech. He was piped into the theatre by a pipe band • and was given a typical welcome by a large party of Maoris. Mr. Fraser was accorded musical honours on rising to speak, ana was cheered. He had a very wahm and friendly reception, and his speech was frequently applauded. A .otion of thanks and confidence was carried by acclamation.
