CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 9. The third day of the New Zealand Metropoiitan Trotting Club's cup meeting, due to have been held at Addington today, was postponed owing to bad weather. The third day's programme will now be run next Saturday. The fourth day was qriginally set down for next Saturday, but there is a possibility that it will have to be abandoned, as the threeday meeting of the' Caiit'erbury Jockey Club o^ens on November 23 and ends on December 7. The New Brighton Trotting Club has a permit for December 14 or 21, while the Ashburton races are on December 26. Unless some arrangement can be made, the Metropoiitan Trotting Club may have to lose its fourth day in the meantime.
