The Daily Telegrapli's diplomatic eorrespondent sa\'s Ihe main subject of tlie talks is the £20,000,000 balance which has ac cumulated in Britain 's favour after the signing of the Anglo-Danish nionetary agreoment oarlier in the year. The B'ritish view is that Danish food exports lo Britain sliould be increased to reduce tlie balance. In addition, Britain would laccept rejiayment of part of the suni ; in hard currencies, dollars for preferience, or possibly Swiss francs.
