HOUSE-TO-HOtJSE COLLECTION The sum of £191 12s 4d is to hand so far as a result of the annual house - to - house collection. announced the treasurer of the Levin Plunket Society at the meeting held this week. There are still some moneys to come in and the fcotal should be in excess of that collected last year. A lett'er was received from the Junior Chamber of Commerce, notifying the committee of the date of the meeting at which plans for „he proposed new civic centre would be discussed. Mesdames Hunter, Smaill and the secretary were ippoirited to attend the meeting. Several contributions were handed in for the Plunket stall, which is to be held on Tuesday, February 11. This stall, as advertised previously. is being held to raise money for the Wellington Karitane Hospital, so it :s hoped that it will be well patroniscd,
