VALEDICTORY EVENING
A very pleasant evening was spent at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. McGilligan in an informal but diversive manner on Monday to say farewell to Mr. and Mrs. Berry. Each guest as they arrived was given a title of nobility, and this was amusing. Mr. and Mrs. McGilligan, as Mr. and Mrs. Churchill did the honours in no uncertain manner. The decorations of flowers and crystalware were most attractive, while full musical honours were accorded the guests. A delightful dinner was supplied and enjoyed. dinner was supplied and enjoyed. During the evening Miss Sylvia Pankhurst was reviscd in the toru? of Miss Clarke, who was saluted by H. M. Keith, the First'. The party concluded with "Auld Lang Syne," and hearty appreclation of the kindness of Mr. and Mrs. McGilligan. " ^ ^ '
