WANGANUI, Nov. G. "The membership has reached a new reeord in the Presbyterian Church, ' ' stated the statistics convener, Eev. H. O. Bowman, to the Presbyterian General Assembly. "The people under pastrol care are more than ever before and the financial giving of the church is the highest ever this year. Tho church has life in it and health in it. " Mr. Bowman gave the nominal following ffgures: In New Zealand there are 300,000 nominal Presbyterians with 252,986 under pastoral care, while 83,162 people are attending church regularly and 55,517 are in full membership. All the North Tsland presbvteries except Wanganui and Wellington, show inareases and in the South Island all 'except Ashburton aud Timaru in the centre and Ciutha and Southland in the eouth.
