WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. i ' "Already half of the total issu.e of ' health stamps has been sold, " said the , Poslmaster General, Hon. P. Webh, today. ' ' Saies for the first week, in keeping with those for the first day, .show a great advance on the first week's saies in any previous year. Saies at . district centres and principal post j othces reached the very gratifying - figure of £4(3,387 against £27,498 last year j and £18,422 in 1944. | .The North Island takes credit for saies totalling £18,0(33 compared with (£10,98(3 for the South Island.
