JEWISH LEADERS RELEASED
PALESTINE CURFEWS LIFTED Received Wednesday, 10.45 a.m. JERUSALEM, Nov. 5. Eight Jewish leaders were this evening permitted to leave Latrun Detention Carnp, where they have been detained since June 29. The High Commissioner, Sir Alan Cunningham, also granted an amnesty to twenty Arab political prisoners, including some detained on the Seychelles Island. The curfews > throughout PaiesLine have also , been lifted. In London, speaking in the House ' of Commons, the Minister of Col- i onies, Mr. Creech Jones, announced 1 that the British Government had j decided to release the Jewish lead- ! ers at present under detention in ; Palestine, and also certain Pales- j uinian Arabs. j
