VICTORY FAIR RAISED £306

The monthly meeting of St. John's Methodist Ladies' Guild was held recently, Mrs. Kennerley presiding. The meeting openpd with a hymn, a passage of scripture and a prayer. Mrs. Burnham stated that 22 cakes had been sent to England. The result of the recent victory fair; was outstanding, and a record suri" of £366 was-'coH'ected, for whidh the members of the guild wish to sihcerely thank all wlio had helped in any way to make it such a great success. Afternoon tea was then served and the meeting closed with the BenediCtion.
