WANGANUI, Nov. 4. Iu accordance with the request of tlie united committee set up to make a revision of the Alaori Bible, the .Very Rev. J. G. Laugliton, superintendent of Alaori Alissions, was released from his duties by the Presbyterian General Assembly, to proceed to England to see the AL'aori Bible through the press of the British and Foreign Bibje^ Society. An outline of a constitution for a National Couucil of Churelies (Alaori Section) was submitted to the assembly today. It will be known as Te Kaunihera Whakawhanaunga I Nga Ilahi Karaitina, whieh means the couneil to promote l)lood relationship between the Alaori ehurches. The Church of England, the ATethodist Church and Presbyterian Church are making joinr provisiop. for the finance required.
