A \yoman who was found strang'led in Coopcr Park, AYoolahra, yesterday, has been identificd as Mrs. Ada J.ambert, a laundress, agcd 45,* the mother oL' four children, who lived apart from her husband in the district. The polie.e have cstabJished that when she was 011 her way home from a. music lcsson, a thief grabbed her handbng- and was pursued by a young man but escaped. A little later residents report seeing her following a man who carried a bag. The police believe she was lured into the park, struck on the jaw and earried into the bracken where her body was found. I11 some respe.ct the murder is similar to the savage killing of an eJeven-year-old gir] in Camperdown cemetery last June, whieh is also unsolved. Other articles of elothing helonging to A[rs. Lamhert and a man have been found. Two boys found the body, whieh was almost nude. Clothing1 was piled nearby. Tlie woman's injuries showed that she was the victim of a sex fiend.
