Good racing was witnessed at Napier Park. on Saturday, the lirst day of the Napier Club's Spring fixtuTe: ; ' It was the club's 60th anniversary.. The day was like summer and the course in splendid order. The £32,406 put- through the totaiisator was a deerease of £4896 10s b'y coniparison with last yoar's turnover. •. Following a long absence from the winning list Lowry Bay won the Park Stakes and the open sprint went to Royal Heir who mad& eoncessions rangbig up to 3llbs. to his opponents. A. C.
