LONDON, Nov. 1. The British Cinematograph Films Council, itx its annual report, recommends that the production of more British films of first feature qualit.v, Should be assisted by s]>ecial Government prioriiies. It also noted "with disquiet", Ihe inereasing number of short British films of inferior quality which were likely lo damage British filin prestige abroad, and reconimended that legislation be introduced to prevent Ihe export of sucli films.
