EXPLOSIONS SHAKE HOUSES
KV'DXKY, Xov. X A ierrific explosion shook liouses in the snbiirb of* Leicliliardt early this morning, when an ordnance store caught fire. Drums of petrol, oi I, kero sene and paint exploded like a bomliardment as the fire raced through the building, blowing off the roof and sliattering the walls. The flames reaehed a height of cver 200 feet but forfunately did not reach the niain building 100 yards away wliere large quantities of heavv explosives are stored.
